Percy and Reed recently commissioned Ultragraph to design and manufacture packaging for a new product range that they were launching into a major high street retailer.
The Design Brief.
The company is committed to the reduction in the use of plastics within their product packaging and the brief to Ultragraph was to:
- Design a suite of cartons and internal fitments that securely hold the products.
- Reduce or eradicate the use of thermo-formed trays.
- Remove any requirement for window patching.
The Solution
After a number of constructional design iterations our team created a series of innovative cartons and fitments that securely held some difficult shaped products.
Our solution completely eradicated the use of thermo-formed plastic trays and a window patches within the cartons themselves making the packaging 100 % recyclable.
