We use a fault tolerant system that provides failsafe redundancy at each level of production as well as using two of the very latest generation Heidelberg Suprasetter platesetters with full automation for plate production offering you continuous 24 hour plate output when required.

The RIP for maximum productivity
Ultra-Connect features a double RIP configuration - A new generation of software that allows both direct ripping of PDF documents and the tried-and-tested PostScript format. PDF documents are correctly processed including any transparency contained within them, thereby eliminating proof and plate output errors. Identical output results can be produced anywhere in the workflow. This standardised presentation makes print processes highly reliable and productive.

Ultra-Connect uses the same image processor for proof and plate which provides the ideal basis for joint color management and identical output results - In other words, the proof accurately represents the result that will later be achieved when printing on the press.

Perfect colour management and proofing
With Ultra-Connect, our whole production environment is colour managed using a closed loop colour managment system in order to ensure predictable, repeatable color reproduction to ISO (International Standards Organisation) standards.  As you would expect this management system forms an integral part of the Ultra-Connect workflow and we constantly measure, evaluate and where neccessary adjust our system to keep within the ISO tolerances.
