Comments:

A truly stunning project to be involved for long standing client Select Property.  This brochure used an uncoated Ebony Colorplan Gravure Embossed sheet for the cover. We then printed a gloss clear varnish onto the sheet to give a beautiful patterned effect to the cover before gold foil blocking the text elements to the outer.

This was quite a technically challenging project as initially, we were unsure how the varnish would sit on the surface of the paper for the cover and we were concerned that there might be drying issues due to the ingredients used in the formulation of the varnish.

We decided that a test was in order to ensure that there were no surprises in store for us when we produced the brochure as the material was over £1.50 per sheet! Specific attention had to be given to the foiled areas as we knew that the foil would not adhere to the areas of the sheet that had been varnished, so the image of the foil was also removed from the print area of the varnish.

The text pages were printed 4 colour process plus metallic gold and sealed with a neutral sealer to help create a truly stunning looking finished product.

After deliver our client informed us that the development had literally sold out to investors over a weekend event.
